TEST DATA DISCLOSURE POLICY
Advanced Structural Alloys, LLC.

November 3, 2008

ASA has long been an advocate for complete transparency when it comes to durability and standards testing. We strongly believe that this is an issue of consumer safety. We want every customer contemplating the purchase of an ASA Forged Alloys product to KNOW that it has been carefully engineered by the ASA team and thoroughly tested by independent third-party testing laboratories.

Therefore, we intend to openly provide public access to our test data, both internal and external. On this website, we will provide both our own computerized FEA simulation models and actual test reports from companies such as Standards Testing Labs (STL) and others.

The most common test standards we use are those published by SAE (J2530) and TUEV Rheinland (Germany). We will provide PDF files of these ACTUAL test reports as well as an explanation of how the tests are performed and what the results mean to you as a consumer.

As a matter of financial prudence, we do not send every size and offset of wheel to outside labs for testing. Instead, within each wheel design family we choose the width and offset configuration that presents the greatest testing challenge and subject it to the equivalent of two product lifetimes of stress in a third-party laboratory. In this way, we insure that the “worst case” ASA recommended wheel fitment is safe at maximum rated load.

We appreciate your forbearance during our website construction project as we prepare all of these reports for downloading. In the meantime, we respectfully submit an STL Cornering Fatigue test report on our 19x8.5 Tech1-110 as a sample of what you can expect from us in the weeks to come.
