 Advanced Structural Alloys, LLC. (ASA) is a high-end manufacturer of forged and spun aluminum products for the automotive, motorcycle, truck and aerospace market segments. As a fully integrated contract manufacturing business, all process steps are completed on site, in ASA’s 100,000 sq. ft. facility located in Oxnard, California. ASA’s business mission has been to integrate superior metal working technology and equipment with manufacturing operations excellence. Since it’s inception in 1998, ASA has experienced strong growth as numerous products associated with our advanced forming technologies have been introduced into the marketplace. ASA is currently equipped to offer a wide range of products in a variety of applications and markets.
ASA’s operational philosophy is to have a complete range of manufacturing capabilities on site, which provides the ability to control cost and scheduling. These manufacturing capabilities include:
- Billet cutting: multiple high speed saws that cut up to 16” .diameter
- Rotary Forging (3 presses)
- Heat Treat Facility with age and anneal ovens
- Metal Spinning and Flow Forming capabilities - 5 CNC controlled spinning machines
- CNC machining – Over 30 Okuma, Mori Seiki, and Haas Lathes and Mills
- Robotic Wheel Cell – Okuma Wheel Master V with Fanuc Robot
- Tool & Die Shop – All company and customer tooling is manufactured at our facility
- Polishing – Full robotic and semi automatic polishing operation
- Engineering: Tool Design, Product Design, Process Design, Solid Modeling and FEA’s
